The snap hook and ring are made of stainless steel. They are resistant to water, sand and salt.
Most snap hooks on the market are made of nickel-plated steel (even though they are presented as stainless steel). Nickel-plated steel does not resist corrosion or oxidation.

Use of Vahana lead rope
- Ground work
- Long reins: 2 lead ropes of 7 m are required. To reduce the weight of the snap hook attached to the halter knot, we recommend removing one snap hook from one of the 2 lead ropes and attaching the rings of both lead ropes to the same snap hook
Caution
Use an Atamē safety snap hook when tying your horse to a fixed point.
Care
- Remove the carabiner and machine or hand-wash the lead rope.
- Regularly apply 2 drops of oil to the snap hook
