GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
VAHANA – Online Sales
ARTICLE 1 – SELLER IDENTIFICATION
VAHANA, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS),
registered with the Trade and Companies Register (RCS) of Lunel under number 811 107 192 00023,
with its registered office located at:
15 chemin des Rompudes – Domaine du Vallon – 34160 Saint-Jean-de-Cornies – France
(hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”),
operates an online sales website offering equestrian equipment and accessories for horses and riders, including but not limited to halters, lead ropes, clips, bareback pads, communication sticks, girths, boots, cords and related accessories, via the website https://vahana.fr.
ARTICLE 2 – SCOPE OF APPLICATION
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (the “Terms”) apply, without restriction or reservation, to all sales of products concluded by the Seller with consumers and, where applicable, professional clients, via the website vahana.fr.
Any order placed on the website implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms by the Customer.
The Terms applicable are those in force at the date the order is validated.
ARTICLE 3 – PRODUCTS
The essential characteristics of the products are presented on the website in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
Product photographs, visuals and descriptions are provided for illustrative purposes only. Due to the artisanal nature of certain products, slight variations in colour, texture or appearance may occur.
Such variations are inherent to handcrafted production and do not affect the functional qualities of the products. They shall not constitute a lack of conformity or a hidden defect, provided that the product remains fit for its intended use.
ARTICLE 4 – PRICES
4.1 Prices Displayed
Prices are indicated in euros (€), inclusive of applicable taxes, excluding delivery costs.
Delivery costs are specified before final validation of the order.
4.2 Value Added Tax (VAT)
VAT is applied in accordance with the tax regulations in force, depending on:
• the country of delivery,
• the status of the Customer (consumer or professional),
• and applicable distance-selling thresholds within the European Union.
For deliveries outside the European Union, sales are made exclusive of VAT. Any customs duties, local taxes or import charges remain the sole responsibility of the Customer.
4.3 Price Changes
The Seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time.
Products are invoiced based on the prices in effect at the time the order is registered.
ARTICLE 5 – ORDERS
Orders may be placed:
• directly online via the website vahana.fr,
• based on a quotation expressly accepted by the Customer,
• exceptionally by telephone, subject to prior approval by the Seller.
All orders become final once payment has been validated.
The Customer is given the opportunity to review the details of the order and correct any errors before final confirmation.
ARTICLE 6 – ORDER CONFIRMATION
An order confirmation is sent to the Customer by email as soon as possible after validation.
This confirmation summarises the essential elements of the order, including the products ordered, total price, payment method and delivery details.
ARTICLE 7 – PAYMENT
Payment is due in full at the time the order is placed.
Accepted payment methods include:
• credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard),
• PayPal,
• bank transfer.
Payments are processed via secure payment service providers.
At no time are banking details stored by VAHANA.
ARTICLE 8 – DELIVERY
Products are delivered to the address provided by the Customer during the ordering process.
Delivery times are provided for indicative purposes only and may vary depending on destination and product availability.
In accordance with applicable consumer law, if delivery is delayed beyond a reasonable period, the Customer may request cancellation of the order and reimbursement of amounts paid, under the conditions provided by law.
The Seller shall not be held liable for delays attributable to carriers or to events beyond its reasonable control (force majeure).
ARTICLE 9 – RECEIPT AND CLAIMS
Upon receipt of the order, the Customer is required to check the condition of the package and products.
Any anomaly (damaged package, missing or non-conforming product) must be reported in writing within a reasonable time after delivery.
ARTICLE 10 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with European consumer law, the Customer has a fourteen (14) calendar day period from the date of receipt of the products to exercise the right of withdrawal, without having to provide any justification.
Returned products must be:
• unused,
• in perfect condition,
• returned in their original packaging.
Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the Customer.
The refund shall be issued within a maximum period of fourteen (14) days from receipt of the returned products or proof of dispatch.
ARTICLE 11 – LEGAL WARRANTIES
The Customer benefits from:
• the legal warranty of conformity,
• the legal warranty against hidden defects,
in accordance with applicable French and European legislation.
These legal warranties apply independently of any commercial warranty.
ARTICLE 12 – RETENTION OF TITLE
Products remain the property of the Seller until full payment of the purchase price has been received.
ARTICLE 13 – LIABILITY
The Seller shall not be held liable for damage resulting from improper use of the products or failure to follow usage instructions.
Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude the statutory rights of consumers.
ARTICLE 14 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All elements of the website vahana.fr, including texts, images, logos and visuals, are protected by intellectual property rights and remain the exclusive property of VAHANA.
Any reproduction, representation or use, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation is strictly prohibited.
ARTICLE 15 – PERSONAL DATA
Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Customers have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to processing and request portability of their personal data.

ARTICLE 16 – APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, the Customer is encouraged to contact the Seller to seek an amicable solution.
Failing such resolution, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent French courts.
