An Rope Halter Made in France
The Vahana Soft Rope Halter is made from a soft 6.5 mm polyester rope, exclusively developed for Vahana by a renowned French rope manufacturer. Durable and resistant to everyday use, fading and the elements.
Available in 8 sizes, from Mini to Draft Horse
Each Vahana Soft halter is precisely knotted and available in 8 sizes, from Mini to Draft Horse.
The knots are carefully balanced and adjusted to ensure a stable, consistent fit. A spliced finish at the end of the crownpiece completes the design.
The size is marked directly on the halter for quick and easy identification.
14 colors, including limited editions
The Vahana Soft Rope Halter is available in 14 colors, including limited-edition collections. The subtle heathered finishes are intentionally understated, creating a refined and distinctive look.
Each halter is entirely handmade in the Vahana workshop.

- Spliced finish at the end of the crownpiece

Soft or Pro Rope Halter: Which One Should You Choose?
The difference between the Vahana Soft halter and the Vahana Pro halter lies primarily in the level of precision.
With its denser structure, the Pro provides clearer and more immediate signals. This increased precision requires a sensitive and well-balanced hand: when used incorrectly, it can become more direct; when used correctly, it enables finer and clearer communication.
The Soft, more supple in its structure, offers a more progressive transmission of the aids and allows greater tolerance in the gesture.
The Soft is particularly well suited to riders who are new to natural horsemanship or who are looking for softness and gradual, progressive signals.

Truly beautiful rope halter – the quality is excellent and the more unusual colours as well! I’ve only had stiff(er) rope halters until now but wanted something gentler. Very happy with my purchase – thank you!
