The communication stick (also known as a ‘carrot stick’ or ‘ethological stick’) is one of the essential tools for ground work.
It is avilable in 2 sizes:
- 1m20: the usual size
- 1m: ideal for kids or small/light adults
To be used to mobilise or horse and to work on its confidence.
As an extension of the arm, it enables to indicate to the horse what part of the body to move, to show him the direction to go and to improve its confidence.
Its lenght and weight are ideal for communicating:
- Put the stick forward to ask the horse not to fo faster than you. The stick won’t bend.
- In the circle, the weight of the stick will make it possible to indicate the different phases in the requests. Hold it slowly, direct it with precision and pull it quickly.

- The handle and tip are made of plastic on the Pop Brockamp stick.
- The Classic stick handle is made of rubber and the tip of the leather.
- The handle and tip are made of high-performance silicone on the Vahana Pro stick

Très bon stick ! Voleur plutôt fun, je pensais que l’embout était un caoutchouc, mais il est en plastique rigide. Mais rien de très embêtant 🙂
