Use of the Atamē carabiner

• The Atamē carabiner in 8 shape, attached to a simple carabiner (the 2 carabiners are delivered), is the support on which you pass the rope.
• You attach your horse to the 8 shape carabiner: if your horse pulls, the Atamē carabiner exerts a resistance and not a blockage that could lead to an opposition reflex on the part of the horse.
• This resistance is uncomfortable for the horse, who, to get rid of it, has only one choice, to move forward. At the same time, It is not uncomfortable enough to stress him or give him bad traction reflexes.
• Atamē carabiners act in the same way as you would to teach your horse to give in to pressure.

Security

• If the horse still pulls on the rope and does not give in, it can very easily be slid quickly to release it and thus avoiding any risk of accident.
• Never leave a horse unattended tied up!
• Atamē carabiners are not made to be used in a van or truck.
